Itinerary: day 1: cusco - chinchero - moray - maras - ollantaytambo At 8:00 a.m. we will pick you up at your hotel to begin our adventure to four extraordinary destinations in the Sacred Valley. First, we will head to the village of Chinchero, one of the oldest in Peru famous for its traditional textile work, using the same techniques for two millennia. You will be able to admire the textiles and buy them in the square, where the locals wear beautiful and colourful costumes that express a unique cultural heritage. Next, you will visit the salt mines of Maras, which produce some of the finest salts in the world, with their impressive pink colour and an extraction technique that will captivate you with its efficiency, laboriousness and beauty. Then, at the third stop, you will have a panoramic view of the enormous circular and semi-circular agricultural terraces at Moray, built overlooking the Sacred Valley, which were used by the Incas as a botanical laboratory. Afterwards, around 1:00 p.m. we will visit a restaurant in Urubamba, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch. Finally, the fourth stop will be in Ollantaytambo, where you will appreciate the amazing urban planning of the Incas, with its winding cobblestone streets, agricultural terraces and the ruins of the military fortress. Here you will enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the Sacred Valley.
