OLLANTAYTAMBO - SOCMA COMMUNITY - PEROLNIYOC WATERFALLS - ARCHAEOLOGICAL CENTRE OF ARCAYPATA - OLLANTAYTAMBO. In the morning, we will pick you up from your accommodation at approximately 8:30 am. We will start the one hour trip to the village of Socma where we will begin our hike. After about 45 minutes of walking uphill, we will arrive at the first point where we will be able to appreciate the waterfall. We will stop there for a moment to appreciate the view and take some pictures. Then we will continue about 30 minutes more uphill to reach the archaeological site of Raqaypata. After some explanations about the site from the guide and taking pictures, we will start the hike down. Finally we will return to Socma where we will have lunch (fried trout) and at the end of our lunch we will return to Ollantaytambo village.
